Nestled in the heart of the Norfolk countryside, in the beautiful Wensum Valley, Station Lake offers three charming dog-friendly lodges overlooking a picturesque two-acre lake. Set within approximately three acres of secluded, enclosed grounds with tree-lined pathways. The lodges provide the perfect setting for a peaceful countryside escape.
With direct private access to Marriott’s Way, guests can step straight into miles of scenic walking and cycling routes through the beautiful Norfolk landscape. Station Lake is also perfectly placed for families, with many of Norfolk’s most popular attractions, charming market towns and beautiful coastline all within easy reach, making it an ideal base for unforgettable days out.
Station Lake is home to an abundance of wildlife, including our resident kingfisher, woodpeckers, treecreepers and many other species, making it a haven for nature lovers.
The lake is stocked with carp, some weighing in excess of 30lb, as well as impressive tench, roach, perch and pike. With several fishing swims located around the lake, guests have plenty of opportunities to enjoy a relaxing day’s fishing in peaceful surroundings.
Please note: For safety reasons, children under the age of five are not permitted at Station Lake due to the deep water and steep banks surrounding the lake.
We spent a 4 night break in Wilson’s lodge, was fantastic, very clean, lovely bed linen and little touches which make the lodge so comfortable. Loved the big veranda looking out onto the lake. My boys loved the fishing and going out on their bikes. Would highly recommend for a relaxing break.
